The Articles of Old Jacksonville, Ga. were started in 1999 as part of the First Heritage Day celebrated at Jacksonville, Ga. We just kept writing these articles in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003,2004,2005,2006,2007,2008 and are now still publishing articles in 2009 in the Douglas Enterprise (Douglas, Ga.) and the Telfair Enterprise (McRae, Ga.). On Wednesday, July 15, 2009,the 492nd article was published in the Douglas Enterprise. Unfortunately, our articles were lost on the Internet due to AOL closing down that section.
